Damages/Injuries/Loss of Possessions:
The FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters Camps are staffed by accredited FAI Coaches appointed by the local FAI Development Officer who will implement the highest safety measures. The FAI will not be held responsible for damages, injuries or loss of possessions. We strongly recommend that all valuables be left at home. The parent / guardian of any child who does not wish their child to assume this position or play with children of a different age must make it known to the Head Coach on the first day of their FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters activity. In the absence of such notification it shall be deemed that the parent / guardian has consented to their child assuming a goalkeeping position or to playing with children of a different age if requested to do so by a coach.
Participants must follow the instructions of the coaching staff in charge. Misbehaviour or bullying may result in the participant being expelled from the FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters activity. In the interest of safety, participants are not permitted to leave the FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters activity during the coaching session times without the written consent of a parent/guardian. If a child is expelled from their FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters activity, their parent/guardian will be contacted immediately and appropriate arrangements for the collection of the child will be made should the participant not have parental consent to travel to and from the venue.
All participants must wear the Aviva t-shirt at all times throughout the duration of the activity.

The FAI shall not be accountable should the FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters programme activities be suspended or cancelled due to adverse weather. In cases where the weather has affected the condition of the playing surface or is deemed so bad that coaching activities have to be suspended, the coaching staff will be available to supervise alternative indoor activities, only if the host club or venue can provide such an indoor facility. Please note the vast majority of FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters venues cannot provide indoor playing facilities. Should such a facility not be available and the conditions show no signs of improving, the FAI will contact the parent or guardian to advise them of the suspension of coaching activities if necessary. It will then be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make arrangements to collect their child immediately. The coaching staff will supervise all children until they have been collected
About Our Festival
The FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters Easter Football Festival has replaced our traditional camp format in 2019 and aims to provide children between the ages of 6 and 14 the opportunity to attend FREE football events over the two-week Easter holiday period. It doesn’t matter if you’re just a beginner or if you have your sights set on Katie McCabe’s shirt, you will have fun and learn a lot from our events.
Our activities cater for players of all abilities and participants are grouped according to ability and age to ensure that everyone gets the most out of being involved in an FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters activity.
Beginners will learn the fundamental football skills needed to be a player and receive a fun and dynamic introduction to playing the beautiful game. More seasoned players will focus on more technical and skill-specific training and everyone will participate in mini-leagues and small-sided games.
Our coaching programme for the camp is fully aligned to our Player Development Plan and offers young players the opportunity to maximise their learning and development in a fun and safe environment whilst doing what every young football loves to do - SCORE GOALS!
