Please e-mail us at soccersisters@fai.ie or use our Feedback Form →

Can I leave the venue at lunch to go to a shop nearby?

No, if your activity runs during lunch-time hours you must bring your lunch with you. Participants cannot leave the camp between the hours of 10.00 and 14.00 and can only leave the venue with written consent from a parent or guardian.

    How long is lunch break?

Lunch will last for 20 minutes. Remember to bring your lunch and drinks.

I can't book onto the camp I want because it is full. Can I enrol on the day?

No, once a camp is full no more bookings can be made and no walk-ons will be allowed.

I wish to cancel my booking.

If your child is unable to attend please email us at soccersisters@fai.ie so that we can free up the place on the booking system.

What age do you have to be to participate in the Soccer Sisters camps?

The FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters Football Camps are open to girls between the ages of 6 & 14. The participant must be 6 years of age prior to or on the last day of the FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters activity that they are attending. A child also cannot turn 15 during her camp.

What is the timetable of the camps?

There are a range of activities running over the Easter school holidays, click on the link specific to your location to see the timetable.

Will any of the international players be visiting the Soccer Sisters Festival?

No. It is unlikely that the International players will be available to visit the Aviva Soccer Sisters because at Easter there are International fixtures which they are all involved in. However, it is possible some Women’s National League players and stars from our Underage International squads will visit some of the events.

Will I come early on the first day?

No. Start times vary depending on the venue and the activity so please check these details when you book. You should plan on having your child at the venue approximately 15 minutes before the start time.

    What happens if it rains?

If it rains, we do our utmost to try to keep activities on track. Depending on the severity, the activity will either continue (particularly if the rain isn’t that heavy and starts in the afternoon) or may have to be called off. At venues where there are adequate indoor facilities, kids will be kept occupied with games and quizzes until home time. Please note, that due to the general lack of indoor football facilities at clubs around the country it is generally not possible to move football activities indoors. If the Head Coach deems it necessary, you may be contacted and asked to collect your child early. It’s rare that this happens, but in Ireland you can never rely on the weather!

I’ve a tendency to be late – can my child head home on her own?

All FAI Aviva Soccer Sisters activities have a specified start and finish time. It is your responsibility to ensure that your child is collected at the designated finish time or that arrangements are in place to allow her to travel home independently. Failure to do so leaves our coaches in a highly vulnerable position and may result in you being required to end your child’s participation on her camp.

Please note – only children whose parents have indicated during the application process are allowed to travel independently will be allowed to leave camps unsupervised. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of child safety and welfare across all of our activities and we appreciate your cooperation in our continuing ability to do this.
